The Barn remains the beating heart of Station life.
Formally knows as the original shearing shed, the 200 year old stone barn remains the centre of the Station and makes up the main function space for events, weddings and private stays.
Built around 1835, the Barn was one of the first dwellings built during the time of settlement.
Overlooking the parkland gardens and Molonglo Valley foothills, the Barn was recently renovated offering two unique family sized appartments connected by communal branding lounge and dining hall.
The Barn becomes an ideal venue for private stays, weddings & events.

history
Said to be one of the oldest buildings on the property, The Barn has a notorious history as Foxlow’s original the shearing shed.
In 1910, a report received by ‘The Worker’ office mentions:
“…the shed is an old stone one, which was apparently built by the convicts. The machines were terribly bad, and the sheep were the roughest i’ve seen in 20 years. The owner is a difficult man to shear for and he pays his boundary riders only 15s a week. Overall Foxlow is a terrible place to work.”
- C Day.
Today, the newly renovated Barn has shaken off it’s notorious history and hosts events and guests, sleeping up to 10 people.
