history

Almost 200 years old (circa 1830) the Barn is one of the oldest buildings in the district.

Built by convicts from nearby river stone, it was first used as a shearing shed and became notorious with the shearing unions. Little else is known about the Barn’s history.

Renovated over the centuries by owners FBS Falkiner and George Osborne into family accommodation, the Barn has stood the test of time and now preserved for future generations to come.
