Foxlow is a working station and a family home. Established around 1835 and restored over more than a decade, it sits at the head of the Molonglo floodplain, flanked by mountains and surrounded by farmland.

Station horses greet you at the ha-ha wall. At dusk, wombats and kangaroos graze the hillside. A thousand acres are held in conservation, and the river flats are being rehabilitated for the endangered green and golden bell frog.

Three restored guest houses sleep up to 23 — for a two-night escape, or an entire wedding weekend.
